We ship orders within one week of receiving them (unless the product is listed as being on backorder / out of stock). We always ship via Priority Mail, which takes 2-3 business days for Domestic shipping. You should receive your USA domestic order within 7-10 days, though it often arrives earlier. International Customers please allow 12-14 days for delivery. Due to customs we cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date.

Yes you will receive a tracking number when the order ships. If you have not received a tracking number, then your order has not shipped yet, or the tracking number went to your spam folder. The shipment notification email will be sent from orders@tailspintools.com and will have the subject title: “Your recent TailSpin Tools Order #XXXX has been Shipped!”

We ship with USPS Priority Mail.

We have chosen the most affordable and reliable shipping method for our business needs.

We only insure orders that are over $100 in total and have a US Domestic address. This cost is absorbed into your original shipping fee.

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are your responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to making your purchase.

No – We are not responsible for any country’s customs taxes and fees, nor are they incorporated in any way into the shipping costs. Please take this issue up with your government. UK customers can track their packages on Parcelforce.com. Contact them directly to resolve customs fees and package collection, it is the customer’s responsibility to follow up on these matters.

Exchanges are only possible for damaged or defective items. We do not exchange for different dovetail ratios or similar “swap” transactions.
Please email inquiries@tailspintools.com for return inquiries and include your order number in the request’s subject line. You have 30 days from receiving your item to resolve any return issues. All items MUST be returned complete, in unused condition, and in original packaging to be considered for a refund.

We do not make shipping exceptions as it is cost prohibitive. We ship on a bi-weekly schedule with parcels going out on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Like most businesses we do have the occasional special event. Follow us on Facebook, twitter, and Instagram to stay in the loop. We cannot say when the next event will take place.

No, we do not have a gift system in place at this time. You are welcome to make a purchase and ship directly to your (extremely lucky) recipient.

Wipe your tools with a soft damp cloth. You can use a mild soap or household cleaner. Do NOT use abrasive sponges or cleansers that might degrade the precisely calibrated edges of your tools. Do not submerge your tools in water; end caps are fastened to the tool bodies but are not watertight.
